Business Culture

A corporate culture is the sum of the unwritten norms, beliefs and values that define appropriate behavior. Culture change is one of the most complex tasks facing leaders. However, exceptional leaders spend a large amount of their time and effort in creating the right culture in their organization.

Who are the leaders that come to mind when one thinks of successful culture change in organizations? What are their accomplishments? How have they transformed their businesses? Can we clearly show the correlation between Business Culture and Business Profitability (short-term and long-term)?

  1. I recently heard the CEO of Tata Steel say the following: "The Western business world is long on process and short on passion. Regions like China and India are long on passion and short on process. If only we knew how to blend the two approaches!!!"

Any ideas on how we can create a culture of enhanced passion in the business world?
